ERRLAB – Fumées de vulcanisation

“October 2nd, 2015 – ERRLAB laboratories have signed today with ETRMA (European Tire and Rubber Manufacturers) a new agreement for the development of a scientific project on “rubber fumes”, i.e. the volatile organic emission (VOC’s) from rubber during the thermal phases of the production process. This argument is under evaluation by the EU Commission and the project will provide a comprehensive knowledge of the relations existing between the actual formulation used for a specific application (Tires, different type of rubber goods) and the emission of VOC’s from the rubber. The outcome of the project will also be used for the validation of suitable analytical methods to be applied for the identification of VOC’s substances in the factory.”
